I recently had my words and photographs featured on the Photo Brigade in an article discussing how I shoot college sports with a college budget, I've included an excerpt below and you can check out the entire article here!
"As a college student I have a hard enough time buying groceries, let alone funding my sports photography habit. I first became interested in photographing sports action during my first year at UCLA – a university with a wide range of Division I athletics, ranging from football and basketball to golf and sand volleyball. It wasn’t before long, however, that I realized that shooting college sports is not the easiest thing to do on a college student’s budget. Over the past four years I have worked more hours than I care to remember in food service (sandwiches, frozen yogurt, pretzels, you name it) in order to save up money for camera bodies and lenses."
